Charissa Thompson

Thompson moved on from FOX Sports in the year 2010 and pulled double duty as the host for Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versusfor its NHL studio coverage and recorded web video for the wildly popular Yahoo platform. It also led the site's participation at major sporting events, such as the 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. Success in both arenas resulted in her to be tapped by ESPN as one of its hosts for the new evening program "Numbers Never lie," in August 2011. She was also a member of"SportsNation" in the summer of 2012 "SportsNation" organization in July 2012. The show was an enormous success and she was there until May 2013, when she returned back to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson is a passionate sports fan, but she has shown the flexibility needed to be able to work in entertainment. In June 2014, after various part-time roles Thompson was hired as a permanent co-host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra".
