Rebecca King-CrewAmerican actor Thomas William Selleck. His breakthrough role was as Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988) in which he received five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, winning in 1985. In the show Blue Bloods, Selleck has starred as Frank Reagan, New York City Police Commissioner. Since 2005, he's been playing Jesse Stone, a troubled police chief in a small-town New York City. In addition, he has appeared in nine television movies inspired by Robert B. Parker novels. Selleck has also been featured in films as Peter Mitchell, a bachelor architect and architect, in Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (90). In addition to his role in Magnum, P.I., Selleck is featured in more than 50 other films and television shows. Lassiter, baseball.
